Interactive workshops, keynotes and leadership learning delivered by Nature’s Brief, with public and charitable sector insight and ongoing support from the Collective for Climate Action.

About our Training

Learning that builds shared understanding and supports the next step.

The CFCA and Nature’s Brief are working together to help public sector, private sector and charity teams to develop the skills, confidence and strategic clarity needed to respond to climate, biodiversity and wider sustainability challenges.

Nature’s Brief delivers the specialist training whilst the CFCA brings public-sector insight, supports organisations through
the initial conversation and, for public-sector clients, provides continued engagement after the training so learning
can be connected to practical action.

The Week

A shared, science-based and human led journey through the UN triple crisis, designed for creating meaningful connection

Designer (14).png

The Week is an immersive, three-part programme that gives teams a clear, accessible and emotionally resonant understanding of the interconnected crises of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution, and what they mean for local economies, public health, nature, infrastructure and community wellbeing.

Grounded in robust science and presented through a human-centred narrative, ‘The Week’ helps

participants understand not only what is happening, but why it matters for the places they care

about.

Its design works well across political spectrums: the programme avoids polarising language, focuses

on shared values, and creates space for constructive, cross-party dialogue.

Across three sessions, participants explore the evidence, reflect on their own role in shaping the

future, and identify practical steps that align with their organisation’s responsibilities and local

priorities. The format strengthens team cohesion, builds confidence and supports leaders in engaging

their teams with clarity and empathy.

It’s a unique and unifying experience that helps councils in moving from concern to meaningful,

collective action.
